The UFC Saudi Arabia Fight Night card continues to grow as a lightweight clash between Terrance McKinney (15-7 MMA, 5-4 UFC) and Damir Hadzovic (14-7 MMA, 4-5 UFC) has been confirmed for February 1 at The Venue in Riyadh.
Both fighters announced the matchup on social media, setting the stage for an intriguing battle between two athletes aiming to reignite their careers. Known for his high-octane fights, Terrance McKinney has yet to see an octagon bout go past the eight-minute mark.
While his UFC tenure includes notable victories over Fares Ziam and Matt Frevola, McKinney is looking to bounce back after suffering a devastating 37-second KO loss to Esteban Ribovics in May 2024.
This will be McKinney’s 10th UFC appearance, and the 29-year-old remains a fan favorite for his all-or-nothing approach.
Damir Hadzovic, a UFC veteran since 2016, will step into the cage for the first time in over two years.
Last seen in action in July 2022, Hadzovic dropped a unanimous decision to Marc Diakiese at UFC Fight Night 208. With a 1-3 record in his past four bouts, the Bosnian-born fighter is eager to prove he still belongs in the UFC’s lightweight division.
